As the Energy Manager you will be responsible for managing and increasing our market share in the HVAC, Solar, Back-up power (Generators) and support for the EV market. The Ideal candidate would have an Electrical, or Refrigeration ticket (Optional), as well as a strong back ground in Sales and Marketing. Salary is based on experience and a bonus structure based on pre-set sales targets. Management experience is an asset.

Salary Range between $ 72,000 – 100,000.00 plus after bonuses.

General Duties

• Answer to General Manager or President directly
• Responsible for managing employees in Applicable dept
• Responsible for searching for and hiring new employees as needed
• Tie directly into a KPI Contract with GC or President
• Work with Office Manager to prepare on time billing
• Work with Office manager on taking deposits for work
• Commit to on-going training related to position
• Work with Office Manager to implement and manage new software
• Must have Red Seal Refrigeration installers ticket (optional)
• Must have Red Seal Electrical construction ticket (optional)

HVAC Related Duties

• Schedule and perform Ductless heat pump site visits
• Central heat pump site visits
• Ordering all materials for projects
• Maintaining HVAC equipment Inventory
• Maintain an inventory of Misc. HVAC materials related to HVAC installs
• Scheduling projects and appropriate staff
• Scheduling service calls
• Fielding service call Inquiries
• Filling in for Field techs on sicks or vacation days if needed (Optional based on qualifications)
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse with field techs
• Ensuring that technician maintain clean and organized Vans
• Following up after installs on customer feedback
• Manage or delegate all social media posts
• Manage or delegate all advertising & marketing related to HVAC
• Work with customers to access any government rebates
• Work directly with EFNS on any custom project for rebates and financing

Emergency Back-up power (KOHLER & Generlinks) and EV Market Duties

• Schedule and perform generator site visits
• Ensure all KOHLER related training for all staff is up to date
• Know the KOHLER portal and processes in depth
• Order all Generator and related equipment for projects
• Track all KOHLER parts
• Order all Electrical materials related to installs
• Maintain an inventory of misc. electrical materials related to Generator installs
• Maintain an Inventory of Generators custom for our customers and market
• Maintained a clean & organized warehouse area with field techs
• Manage stock for maintenance kits and parts
• Help Field techs with installs when needed
• Be trained to do start-ups and maintenance from KOHLER
• Ensuring that technician maintain clean and organized Vans
• Following up after installs on customer feedback
• Manage and delegate all advertising & marketing related to generators
• Schedule and manage all electrical permits & Inspections required with NSPI
• Manage Generlink inventory
• Manage Generlink Install schedule
• Work with commercial customers to provide quotes on turn key projects to secure financing
• Work with partnering suppliers to advance local EV charging stations.

Solar PV Systems

• Schedule and perform solar PV system site visits
• Learn to work with the PV software we use “Helioscope”
• Ordering all materials for projects
• Maintaining solar equipment Inventory
• Maintain an inventory of misc. solar materials related to solar installs
• Scheduling projects and appropriate staff
• Scheduling service calls
• Fielding service call Inquiries
• Filling in for field techs on sicks or vacation days if needed
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse with field techs
• Ensuring that technician maintain clean and organized vans
• Following up after installs on customer feedback
• Manage or delegate all social media posts
• Manage or delegate all advertising & marketing related to solar
• Work with customers to access any government rebates
• Work directly with EFNS on any custom project for rebates and financing
• Oversee safety and security in warehouse
• Work on an internal Inventory or stocking software
• Managing garbage and recyclables to ensure a clean and efficient operation
